Bithra

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

1. Overview

Bithra ("we", "us") operates a habit-tracking app with garden-themed gamification. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By creating an account or using Bithra, you agree to this policy.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is needed to operate the service: profile information (such as display name and preferences), habit and garden progress, device timezone, optional notification settings, and basic usage data required to sync your garden across devices. You may use the app with an anonymous account or link a supported sign-in provider later.

3. How We Use Data

We use your data to provide, improve, and secure the service — including saving your garden, syncing when online, sending optional watering reminders, and preventing abuse.

We may process habit names, garden progress, and basic usage after removing identifiers (such as account id, display name, and email) and aggregating the results, solely to understand demand and improve the catalog and app. We do not use that analysis to re-identify you. We do not share identifiable habit content with advertisers or the public. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Storage & Sync

Your data is stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud servers (Supabase) when you are online. Anonymous and registered accounts receive the same core privacy protections.

5. Crash diagnostics and usage

We use Google Firebase as a processor to keep Bithra stable. Firebase Crashlytics may send crash diagnostics from the production app — stack traces, device model and OS, app version, and an opaque account id — so we can fix failures. This is not used for ads, and we do not sell it.

After you agree to the current terms, we also send coarse session events through Google Analytics so we can measure crash-free usage. Usage includes in-app actions such as creating a habit or watering a plant; we never send habit titles. We do not send display names or email to Firebase.

6. Notifications

Push notifications are optional and controlled by you in Settings. We use them only for habit reminders you enable.

7. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain your personal data, habit history, and garden progress only for as long as your account is active to provide you with the service. You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the app (Settings → Delete Account). Upon requesting deletion, your profile, active habits, and authentication records are immediately and permanently erased from our active servers. We do not retain residual personal data after an account is deleted.

8. Children

Bithra is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below that age.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes may require renewed consent in the app before you continue using Bithra.
